Thirty-seven-year old Gota Satish Kumar, who lost his two-legs in a train accident in 2005, has found a placein the Limca Book of Records for travelling 50,000 kilometres on his motorcycle covering 29 states and five Union territories in 165 days.

On September 2, 2016, Satish had started his journey from Rayagada with his bike with an aim to set an example for others that nothing was impossible if one stood determined.

“The accident had left me depressed. But I bounced back with the support of my family and friends and with a pair of prosthetic legs,” said Satish.

During his journey, he also used to give motivational talks to school and college students. The most difficult part of his journey was while visiting the northeastern states and the Leh and Ladakh region.
